I am best known as the husband of Gwen Waring and retired minister of Chapel Bellavista. We started Chapel Bellavista in 2000 after 24 years of traditional ministry here in Arizona. Chapel was a very laid-back fellowship that never collected money or enlisted members. We just worshiped, had fellowship.
Many destination weddings are held here and couples do not have a clergy connection. Some might not belong to a church and have not yet met a qualified Arizona wedding officiant, Phoenix wedding pastor or priest. We have now devoted ourselves to full-time wedding leadership to help couples navigate the reality show called "The Arizona Wedding Industry." Although retired from the church, I will continue to help plan and officiate weddings all over Arizona. Because some people do not have a specific religion, my romantic civil ceremonies are among the most appreciated and enjoyed! Everyone can enjoy the celebrating services of a caring, open-minded wedding minister. I want your wedding to be an amazing experience!
Your personalized ceremony may include a traditional unity candle or trendy sand ceremony. If you have your children at the ceremony, they are often recognized and included. You can write your own vows. I'm also the first minister to offer officiating all or part of your ceremony with you facing your guests. They love to see your smiling faces! You will love your wedding ceremony!

Arizona offers an optional Covenant Marriage License. If you choose that marriage license option, I am qualified and professionally prepared to offer the premarital counseling. Counseling is not required for a regular Arizona Marriage License.
